Information, Applications and Procedures for:
Côte d'Ivoire Business & Tourist Visas

A valid passport and visa are required to enter Côte d'Ivoire. Persons arriving without valid passports and the appropriate visa may not be permitted to enter and will be subject to a fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense.

Please follow the instructions below. After you read all the instructions, if you have any questions, call us at 1-800-806-0581 before you start the process.

Send us your current valid and signed passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least one blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

Send 2 visa applications forms completed and signed with your signature in blue ink.

Côte d'Ivoire visa Application

You must submit 2 passport photographs taken by a passport photographer. Digital and non-passport photographs are not acceptable.

Passport Photo Requirements

Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency, or a copy of your ticket. The itinerary must show the applicant's name, date of arrival and departure from Côte d'Ivoire, and flight information.

The itinerary is required because the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire wants to know the dates you plan to arrive and depart from the country.

NOTE: Processing times are business days. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant.

The A Briggs fees are:

$55.00 for regular service for which we secure your visa from the Embassy in its normal time of issuance; or

$125.00 for rush service for which we secure your visa as quickly as the Embassy will issue it.

$175.00 for same day service when available. Please call 1-800-806-0581 in advance to determine availability.

Applicants are required to submit a computer-generated hotel confirmation from a travel agent or hotel. The confirmation must show the applicant's name and reservation dates.

If the traveler is staying with a host, a letter of invitation from the host is required with the host's name and address. The invitation must be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abidjan.

Business visa applicants must submit a business cover letter from a U.S. company indicating purpose of travel, duration and moral and financial responsibilities. Please review the example cover letter at the link below.

Tourist visa applicants must submit a bank statement indicating that the applicant has sufficient funds to sustain them while they are in Côte d'Ivoire.

A bank statement may consist of either a print out of your statement (online statements are acceptable) or a letter from the bank giving the balance, signed by an employee of the bank on the bank's letterhead.

Business visa applicants should have a statement from their employer in the business cover letter assuming financial responsibility.

Visa applicants are required to provide a copy of their International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.

Business visa applicants must submit a letter of invitation from the host company in Côte d'Ivoire certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abidjan.

The order form gives us your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.

Saturday Delivery is an additional $14 when available to US destinations.
