U.S. citizens traveling as tourists may stay in the country without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days. U.S. business travelers may stay in the country without a visa for up to 14 days. U.S. citizens are required to present a valid passport that has at least one blank visa page and the passport should not expire within six months of the last day you are in the country. If you intend to stay for a longer period of time, then you will need a visa. Many people visiting Taiwan also travel to China during their trip. If you are making an entry to mainland China you will need a visa for each entry into China. For instance, if you leave China, go to Taiwan, and back to China again you will need a Double Entry China Visa. If you are making any another stops on your trip to Taiwan be sure to check the entry/exit requirements of each country on your journey. Visas for Non-US Citizens Residing in the U.S. There are 191 countries in the world and each one has different visa arrangements with the 190 other countries. It is not possible for us to maintain current visa requirements for all nationalities to all countries. For this reason we do not process all non-U.S. citizens' visa applications on the Internet.
