Cameroon Business Visas

A valid passport and visa are required to enter Republic of Cameroon. Americans arriving without valid passports and the appropriate visa may not be permitted to enter and will be subject to a fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense.

Immunization Requirements: Please see the Center for Disease Control for the current immunization requirements for travel abroad. Be sure to click on all countries to which you are traveling to review the immunization requirements for each.

Items required to secure your visa to Cameroon.


Submit your current, valid, signed Passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least 1 blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

The Embassy of Cameroon requires your passport be signed prior to submission. If you are acquiring a new passport book through A Briggs, the new passport book must be returned to you, signed, and then returned to A Briggs; additional shipping fees apply to all shipments made on an A Briggs shipping account.


Submit two (2) completed, signed Cameroon Visa Application forms filled in ALL CAPS. They must be signed with blue ink and.

Submit two (2) recent, 2x2 Passport Photographs with the whites of your eyes visible and taken by a passport photographer. They must not be a digital or non-passport style photograph.

Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency or a copy of your ticket(s). A photocopy is acceptable. It must indicate your name, date of arrival and departure from Cameroon and flight information.


Submit a business letter of invitation from your host company, with the official seal of the Cameroon Ministry of Immigration and notarized by the local police. It must indicate visa type, number of visa entries being applied for and visa validity being applied for.


Submit a signed Business Cover Letter from a US company on company letterhead. It must indicate:

  • the purpose of your trip
  • visa type
  • number of visa entries being applied for
  • visa validity being applied for
  • duration of your stay
  • your company's moral and financial responsibilities for you

Submit your International Certificate of Vaccination showing inoculation against yellow fever. A photocopy is acceptable.


Note: IF TRAVELER IS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE the following additional documents are required:

  • A photocopy of the child's birth certificate.
  • A jointly signed notarized consent letter from the parents agreeing to the trip and indicating who will be travelling with the child.
  • A photocopy of each parent's passport.
  • If the parents are Cameroon citizens, proof of legal long-term US residency is required (i.e. US Permanent Resident Card or US visa). A photocopy is acceptable.
  • If the parents are not traveling with the child, the guardian and/or third party entity must also submit a copy of his/her passport.

NOTE: Processing times are business days, and do not include weekends, holidays, and regular consular closings. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant.

On the FedEx air bill, check the box in 4a "FedEx Priority Overnight".
Do NOT ship "First Overnight" unless instructed otherwise by an A Briggs agent; this will delay the delivery of your package.


United Parcel Service

The UPS Shipping Document must indicate "UPS Next Day Air". Any other type of UPS service is NOT acceptable.

Note: Additional shipping costs must be charged to a credit card for each package shipped to an international destination and the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. Territories.

Saturday Delivery is an additional $14 when available to US destinations.
