On February 11, 2014, the United States Department of State issued a Travel Warning for persons considering travel to Saudi Arabia. To read the Travel Warning in entirety, please visit http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/alertswarnings/saudi-arabia-travel-warning.html.

Saudi Arabia Embassy in DC will be closed for Eid holidays Monday July 28 through Friday August 1, 2014. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, August 4, 20.

A valid passport and visa are required to enter Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Americans arriving without valid passports and the appropriate visa may not be permitted to enter and will be subject to a fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense.

Immunization Requirements:

Please see the Center for Disease Control for the current immunization requirements for travel abroad. Be sure to click on all countries to which you are traveling to review the immunization requirements for each.

Items required to secure your visa to Saudi Arabia.

  1. PASSPORT

    Submit your current, valid, signed Passport. It must not be handwritten. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least 1 blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

  2. VISA APPLICATION

    Submit a completed Saudi Arabia Visa Application form.

    All fields of the application form have to be completely filled out, including Name, Address and Phone number of the inviting company in Saudi Arabia. Missing or incomplete information will cause processing delays.

  3. ENJAZ ONLINE APPLICATION

    An A Briggs Saudi Visa Specialist will complete the Enjaz online application form for you on your behalf. The Enjaz fee is included in the consular fees.

  4. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH

    Submit a recent, 2x2 Passport Photograph with the whites of your eyes visible, with a white background and taken by a passport photographer. It must not be a digital or non-passport style photograph.

  5. PROOF OF RESIDENCY
    [NON-US CITIZENS]

    If you are not a US citizen, submit a photocopy of your proof of your legal long-term US residency (i.e. US Permanent Resident Card or US visa).

  6. PROOF OF DEPARTURE

    Submit a flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency or a copy of your ticket(s). A photocopy is acceptable. It must indicate your name, date of arrival and departure from Saudi Arabia and flight information.

  7. LETTER OF INVITATION

    At this time A Briggs can only assist with Saudi Arabian visa applications for applicants with invitations specific to the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Washington DC, or the Saudi Arabian Consulate in Los Angeles or Houston. If your invitation is specific to the New York consulate, please contact your host in Saudi Arabia to have this changed to Washington DC, Los Angeles or Houston. Submit an electronic application letter from a Saudi company with an electronic approval number, or an original letter of invitation from the company in Saudi Arabia bearing stamps from the Chamber of Commerce or Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    Once you have completed the order form, email the inviting company's name exactly as it appears on the invitation in Arabic, along with your order number, to saudivisas@abriggs.com. This is required in addition to sending the paper invitation.

  8. SPONSOR INFORMATION

  9. LETTER OF INTENT

    Submit a Letter of Intent. It must indicate the purpose of your trip, duration of your stay, date of arrival and departure from Saudi Arabia and your host's full contact information.

    If your short term employment contract is available, a copy of it may be submitted instead.

  10. ADDITIONAL

    The category visa type is invitation specific. Please consult your sponsor to determine category of visa (business, employment or temporary work).

  11. PROCESSING TIME

    The processing time for all visas for Canadian citizens is 2-4 weeks. The processing time for all other citizens is as listed under the Consular Fees requirements and on our order form.

    NOTE: Processing times are business days. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant. The consular fee includes Enjaz authorization.

  13. A BRIGGS FEES

    The A Briggs fees for Saudi visas are:
    $155 for Non-Rush processing.
    $195 for Rush processing.

  14. ONLINE ORDER FORM

    You must complete the Online Order Form.

    The order form gives us your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.

    While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay A Briggs. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

    *Shipping address may change based on time and products ordered. Be sure to check the shipping address given at the end of the digital order form process.
    *An additional $20.00 handling fee will be charged for those who choose to provide outbound USPS shipping labels. We highly recommend items be sent via FedEx or UPS due to our experience with delays in shipping and lack of accurate tracking. By using USPS you assume responsibility for all delayed or lost packages.

    On the FedEx air bill, check the box in 4a "FedEx Priority Overnight".
    Do NOT ship "First Overnight" unless instructed otherwise by an A Briggs agent; this will delay the delivery of your package.

    UPS

    The UPS Shipping Document must indicate "UPS Next Day Air". Any other type of UPS service is NOT acceptable.

    Note: Additional shipping costs must be charged to a credit card for each package shipped to an international destination and the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. Territories.

    Saturday Delivery is an additional $16 when available to US destinations.
