Information, Applications and Procedures for:
Yemen Business Visas

A valid passport and visa are required to enter Republic of Yemen. Americans arriving without valid passports and the appropriate visa may not be permitted to enter and will be subject to a fine and immediate deportation at the traveler's expense.

Immunization Requirements:

Please see the Center for Disease Control for the current immunization requirements for travel abroad. Be sure to click on all countries to which you are traveling to review the immunization requirements for each.

Items required to secure your visa to Yemen.

  1. PASSPORT

    Submit your current, valid, signed Passport. It must not expire within 6 months and must have at least 1 blank visa page. If you do not have any blank visa pages in your passport, you must first amend your passport to have pages added. A Briggs will secure your visa using the added pages. If your passport expires within six months, you must renew your passport and then we will secure your visa with the new passport.

  2. VISA APPLICATION

    Submit a completed, signed Yemen Visa Application form. It must be signed with blue ink and.

  3. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH (2)

    Submit two (2) recent, 2x2 Passport Photographs with the whites of your eyes visible and taken by a passport photographer. They must not be a digital or non-passport style photograph.

  4. PROOF OF DEPARTURE

    Submit a computer-generated flight itinerary from your travel agent, airline, or online booking agency or a copy of your ticket(s). A photocopy is acceptable. It must indicate your name, date of arrival and departure from Yemen and flight information.

  5. HOTEL CONFIRMATION
    [IF STAYING AT HOTEL]

    If you are staying in a hotel, submit a computer-generated Hotel Confirmation. It must indicate your name and reservation dates.

  6. BUSINESS INVITATION

    Submit a Business Invitation from the organization in Yemen sponsoring you.

  7. BUSINESS COVER LETTER

    Submit a signed Business Cover Letter from a US company on company letterhead. It must indicate the purpose of your trip, duration of your stay and your company's moral and financial responsibilities for you.

  8. DOCTOR'S LETTER

    Submit a original letter from your doctor confirming the absence of any contagious or communicable diseases.

  9. CONSULAR AVAILABILITY

    The consular office of Yemen is closed on Fridays.

    Documents cannot be picked up or dropped off when the consular office is closed, and visa processing times do not include days the consular office is closed.

    NOTE: Processing times are business days, and do not include weekends, holidays, and regular consular closings. The first day begins the day after your package is received by A Briggs except in the case of pre-arranged same day service when available. Prices are per applicant.

    You may pay your consular fees via credit card when filling out our Online Order Form.

    If Paying by Check
    Send a money order for the consular fees payable to the Embassy of Yemen. The payment to the Embassy must be a money order. Personal checks are not accepted.

  12. ONLINE ORDER FORM

    You must complete the Online Order Form.

    The order form gives us your name, address, shipping information and payment method. Multiple applicants can be entered using one order form. Please print two copies of the confirmation page. Include one copy with the documents you ship to us and keep one copy for your records.

    While completing the online order form in this step, you will be asked how you want to pay A Briggs. You may pay our fees online with a credit card or enclose a personal or business check or money order.

    *Shipping address may change based on time and products ordered. Be sure to check the shipping address given at the end of the digital order form process.
    *An additional $20.00 handling fee will be charged for those who choose to provide outbound USPS shipping labels. We highly recommend items be sent via FedEx or UPS due to our experience with delays in shipping and lack of accurate tracking. By using USPS you assume responsibility for all delayed or lost packages.

    Federal Express

    On the FedEx air bill, check the box in 4a "FedEx Priority Overnight".
    Do NOT ship "First Overnight" unless instructed otherwise by an A Briggs agent; this will delay the delivery of your package.

    UPS

    The UPS Shipping Document must indicate "UPS Next Day Air". Any other type of UPS service is NOT acceptable.

    Note: Additional shipping costs must be charged to a credit card for each package shipped to an international destination and the following locations: Alaska, Hawaii, and all U.S. Territories.

    Saturday Delivery is an additional $16 when available to US destinations.
